This garment is made from plastic water bottles. Yep, you read that right! Team Timbuktu uses a material that is made from sorted, sterilised, and melted down plastic water bottles to create their breathable, comfortable, and durable activewear. Talk about turning trash into treasure.
Terri-Leigh wears S (AU 10), she is 178cm, with 93cm bust and 108cm hips. Kay wears XS (AU 8), she is 156cm, with 85cm bust and 82cm hips.
Regular/straight fit, and slightly boxy to accomodate for layering. If unsure, size up for room to layer.
Behind the Brand
Team Timbuktu is an activewear brand for the ethical and sustainable soul. This Australian-based company’s fabric of choice is recycled plastic water bottles, they are completely committed to transparency in their supply chain, and for every single Team Timbuktu order, one tree is planted.

Shipping and Returns
Any DIPP, Hakea, or Sofia Maria purchases are final sale, and these cannot be returned except if damaged or faulty. The same applies to any personalised purchases.
Unless the item is damaged or faulty, RUPAHAUS does not provide refunds. Any “change of mind” purchases will be honoured with a store credit.
Z. The Label does not provide refunds on returns, instead we will offer an exchange or a store credit.
The Daily Bar does not accept returns for change-of-mind (because, food), and can only accept returns if the goods are damaged or faulty.
Returns are not eligible for The Unseen Label or Jackfruit The Label (with the only exception being if the item is damaged or faulty). We will only accept exchanges on bras, so long as they are completely unworn.
Kappi products must not be used at all to be eligible for returns.
Standard items must be returned within 14 days of purchase. Sale items are final sale unless damaged or faulty. Faulty items must be returned within 5 days of purchase.
We do not cover the cost of return postage, so please try to choose the correct sizing. We’ve done our absolute best to provide as much sizing information as possible, though do feel free to send us an email if you need help.
All standard items will be sent within 48 hours of your order being received. To allow for creation time, made-to-order pieces will be posted within 10-14 business days, dependent on the respective brand.
Please note some brands operate out of Australia, while others from Aotearoa, New Zealand. This may mean that a little bit of patience would be required if the packages are coming from international waters, and also if you live rurally.
All shipping is free for orders over $75. If your order is under $75, there is a $12.50 flat rate.
To our friends outside of Australia and New Zealand, please note that we do not currently ship worldwide due to a range of factors, though mainly due to the package delays brought about by the COVID pandemic. We do, however, have a global ethical brand directory for both our local and international friends.
